Pretty much all MSCians were pumped for the upcoming Solidarity Ball that was announced a week earlier. To their dismay, this was cut short by the rather lengthy set of the Dance Sports that was going on at the College’s covered court. A lot of them, while enthralled by the showcase of dances, were already wondering, even hoping, if the Ball was still on. Most people had already left of that point, cursing and complaining how the night and anticipation had all gone to waste. That was not the case for those who started, whoever.
Once the lights changed and the music started, everyone dashed to the dancing floor and went wild. Jumping and screaming at the top of their lungs, they all had their hands in the air.
