Each day is a battle while every minute is a challenge. A piece of failure always bear the great fruit of success. Struggling makes us, giving up without even trying is what breaks us. Nobody knows that being a student would be this hard. Multiple quizzes in a day, multiple projects in a week and deadlines that haunted us even in our sleeps. Walking in the midst of adversities there are different faces of the students that portray the entry of tomorrow. Faces of determination, faces of success, faces of losing and faces of failing but then students are always being put into half. There are students who are very responsible of their obligations while there are some who slack off a lot and end up cramming every deadline.
Studying is just like a race. The thing is, have you ever been in a race where you mustered all your strength to get through the finish line? Every opponent you passed by are just like every challenge you surpass and survive. The ones chasing you are the interminable deadlines that we always thought as a lot of hurdles we jump over to pass by and reach the end. But how did everyone managed to reach the finish line while the rest are still staggering, and some did fall?
Worrying about your level of intelligence is not a thing, embracing the essence of failing without even trying is simply putting yourself in the pit of conquest. Making it to the finish line utterly needs a lot of effort, dedication and determination not just pouring out all your erudition. Always, always remember that hard work at all times defeat the ones wearing all the badges, silver and gold. The determined ones bring the true picture of success.
To the staggering ones, to the ones who fall? Do not let your intimidation and insecurities devour you. You are staggering not because it is hard to succeed instead you always avoid the things being laid in front of you. Complaining a lot though you have not tried your very best yet or you have not tried even an ounce. Do not fret even if everybody is way ahead of you just keep on going. Bear in mind that the smallest steps you make sometimes leaves and makes the most significant lesson and gives more impact than that of those who manage to storm the barricades.
Studying is also like a roller coaster ride. The whole semester brings you tons of surprises and encounters to deal with and if you lay down your arms just easily without even giving it a good fight is like losing a game without an effective strategy.
To my fellow students, do not be sad if you fail. It is the first attempt of learning. Just keep going.
To those who are still struggling, do not quit, never think of giving up just continue what you have already started. Do not get intimidated. Refrain the procrastination, choose to procaffeinate more. Think then proceed.
To my fellow students, all the Thesis survivors, fellow MSCIANS, congratulations for reaching the finish line, our awards await us months away from now. SOONEST. Goodluck to our future endeavor.
